In response to the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025, Shwe Than Lwin Group (STL Group) has committed significant financial support to ongoing humanitarian relief efforts. In addition to this contribution, the STL Group is prioritizing the rapid distribution of essential food supplies to ensure that timely assistance reaches the impacted communities.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for communities, STL Group and its business units including SHWE Bank, SKYNET, Mandala, and more are working tirelessly to provide relief and recovery assistance in Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay regions.
Since March 31, 2025, STL Group has launched an extensive food relief program, distributing around 40,000 of food boxes daily to displaced families, emergency responders, volunteers, and religious institutions. We are also actively collecting feedback from local communities to further expand and tailor our food assistance based on their needs.
In addition to emergency food distribution, STL Group and its subsidiaries are delivering steel water tanks, clean drinking water, medical supplies, hygiene kits to help prevent disease outbreaks, and installing portable toilets to improve sanitation in temporary settlements. To enhance long-term solutions, Mandala Company, a subsidiary of STL Group, is deploying water purification systems and portable power stations in key public areas including four monasteries, two churches, and two mosques. These efforts aim to build sustainable, community-based support systems for recovery and resilience.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous donors whose swift action and compassion embody the spirit of unity and resilience. STL Group remains steadfast in its commitment to stand with the people of Myanmar in every possible way on the road to recovery.
